What is your role at Vovia?

As a Digital Media Specialist at Vovia, I manage and execute digital marketing campaigns for our clients. This includes everything from creating and optimizing ads to monitoring and analyzing campaign performance.

What do you do in your spare time?

During my free time, I indulge in a variety of activities such as spending quality time with friends and family, catching up on TV shows or movies, diving into a good book, exploring, and simply enjoying the outdoors. Exploring new places is a refreshing way for me to clear my mind and uncover new experiences. When I crave some personal time, reading and watching my favorite TV shows are absolute musts for me. They provide a perfect escape, allowing me to relax and explore new worlds. “Friends” is my go-to sitcom.

Tell us something about yourself that would surprise people.

Achieving my bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering marked a significant milestone in my journey. Later, I pursued a Master’s degree specializing in Marketing. During my time studying engineering, I actively engaged in volunteering, an experience that played a pivotal role in introducing me to the digital realm. It was through this journey that I discovered my passion for digital marketing. It’s not typical for a digital specialist to come from an engineering background, but life is full of surprises and transformations, isn’t it?

What do you love/what are you most passionate about?

I’m deeply passionate about various aspects of my life, but traveling, savoring good coffee, and continuously expanding my knowledge are definitely at the top of the list. During my stay in Europe, I enjoyed visiting various countries to immerse myself in their cultures, explore historical landmarks, and savour the local cuisine. Vienna, Munich, and Amsterdam hold special places in my heart as my favourite destinations. In Canada, exploring new spots is my way of recharging, with Banff standing out as a personal favourite.

What is the best part about working at Vovia?

What I appreciate most about working at Vovia is the work culture and the team. I am fortunate to work closely with talented and supportive colleagues who continuously provide help and guidance for my career development. I also value the emphasis on continual learning and development, which keeps me updated on the latest trends and technologies in the industry.
