Morrison Homes

Challenge:

Morrison Homes is a Calgary based homebuilder with over 50 years of experience. This industry is incredibly competitive online and when Morrison approached Vovia for Search Engine Optimization support, they had virtually no presence in the top 30 rankings on Google. Our goal was to improve Morrison Homes’ organic visibility, driving more traffic and leads to their website.

Strategy & Solution:

We performed a series of technical audits, including a comprehensive content evaluation. Through this process, we were able to identify various technical issues that were inhibiting Morrison’s organic visibility. With these learnings we provided a website redesign strategy focused on usability, SEO, and information architecture as key parameters. This strategy paid off almost instantly.

Result:

Within one month, Morison was ranking in the top 3 positions for the majority of phrases targeted. These phrases were highly transactional, so this rank increase also boosted the relevancy of Morrison’s website visitors. Year over year, we increased Morrison’s total organic traffic by 35.46% making this their best performing channel.
