Get to Know… Chelsea!

What is your role at Vovia? I am an Account Manager, which means I’m the go-to-person for my clients here at Vovia. I get to do a little bit of everything (strategy, planning, project management) which keeps my days interesting!

What do you do in your spare time?
I love to take day trips and long weekend trips to new places. Every town has that little something that makes them unique, and I want to find out what it is and see it for myself.

Tell us something about yourself that would surprise people
I found out I was a Canadian citizen when I was 32. When I made the decision to move to Canada from the USA in 2017, I took the year off to travel. It was the trip of a lifetime!

What are you most passionate about?
Besides travel? I love animals and had considered becoming an equine veterinarian when I was younger. But now, I want to be like Jon Stewart (ex-host of The Daily Show), buy a farm in some remote town somewhere, and open an animal rescue. Now that would be a dream come true!

What is the best part about working at Vovia?
The culture! When interviewing with people from the team, I felt there was something truly special about this place. And I’m happy to report, I was right!
